More amazing stuff!

There are so many telescopes in space and on Earth these days, producing ever-more spectacular images.

Today we celebrate Hildegard of Bingen, the mystic, musician, and church leader. I have linked her bio above, as usual.

What I love about being a Christian, besides salvation of course, is how the communion of saints transcends time. We can get as much from the 12th century as we can from other times, include our own. And you combine elements of different eras, you get new perspectives and insights into the great mysteries of our Faith.

Try gazing upon this image of our nearest galactic neighbor, M31 in the constellation Andromeda, taken by the Swift telescope, while listening to a little of Hildegard’s music...

See what I mean?
